By 'Recent' we mean recently put here...
These are a few pics from the 2014 BSA International Rally in Petaluma, California.
12 Christchurch club members attended, albeit on bikes we purchased in the USA. We planned to spend several months circumnavigating the northern USA after the rally, and it became evident that we could buy modern-ish touring bikes for what we would be spending in freight to get our old bikes there and back.
We hoped that they would be acceptable at the rally, and chose 3 cylinder Triumphs mostly, to try to blend in...
We were spotted immediately as imposters, and were relegated to travelling at the rear of the pack.
All good fun though, and the majority of the attendees were very envious of our plans.
First day the bikes all rode to 'Walnut Square' in Petaluma. They sure had a lot of BSA's to show off..
The second day ride was first to a small town in the redwoods called Occidental.
From there to a coastal town called Jenner.
We managed to get some of the fabulous coast road to ourselves on the way back.
The only other International BSA rally I had attended was in Christchurch in 2010. They sure are a major event and a lot of fun.

It will take some time...
